Over thirty-one years ago in a store front location where Daphne Public Library now stands was a little appliance store run by Gene and Geraldine Allen. This was the beginning of Allen’s Services, Inc. When you visited the store, you may have been greeted by one of the Allen girls, who stayed with their Mom at te store before and after school.
We mention this humble beginning because the “family” involvement and environment became the basis for the mission and culture of Allen’s Services. From this beginning of one part-time employee and an annual revenue of about $15,000 has grown the present day operation with a customer base of over five thousand.
We no longer deal only with appliances. Having a family driven mission and culture, we have always strived to perceive the needs of our community. What the families, our neighbors, need here on the Eastern Shore? They needed “One Call Does It All.” That became our slogan.
Today, we take care of Air Conditioning, Heating, Electrical, Plumbing, and Major Appliance Repair. Our employees include primary family members. We have had many opportunities to change our direction, but our mission and culture has kept us large enough to care for our neighbors here on the Eastern Shore – yet small enough to maintain our family driven, personal customer service.
Our work and service remain very gratifying, and we look forward to continuing to serve you.
